Yay! Our School Holiday
Program for Term 3
(October break) is a go!
We are so thrilled to be able to offer a school holiday program and drop-off camp for all our wild little explorers! ‘Camp Wildhood’, as we have so affectionately called it, will be a nostalgic celebration of a childhood full of camp games, crafts, and lots of wild bush adventures (of course!).
Our play-based camp will be a ‘choose your own adventure’ program for children with ample opportunities to learn about and explore our beautiful Australian bush. We are already hard at work ensuring we have all sorts of play options for our budding artists, engineers, and explorers.
Similarly to our keystone ‘Bush Kindy’ program, our ‘Camp Guides’ will be there to offer help and guidance as well as a variety of activities. Children are welcome to join in on guide-led group activities or keep exploring the wild! We always encourage the children at Wild Wattle Nature Play to follow their interests, listen to their bodies, and find joy in nature.
The Important Details…
Camp Wildhood has been designed for children aged 2.5-7 which will make up two cohorts that will play separately and together throughout the day. We ask you to send your child with snacks and lunch. (We may be making and baking goodies as well!). The camp will be held at our ‘Bush Kindy’ location, which has toilets, running water, and a kitchen facility. (Mt. Gib in Mittagong)
We have two programs for school holidays, Week 1 & Week 2. You can choose to enroll your child in one or both weeks.
For each program, you can choose a half-day (3 hour) or full-day (6 hour) attendance. (We heard your feedback for our littlest explorers who need a nap!)

Half Days run from 9:00am-12:00pm

$147 for one week or $294 for both weeks

We have tried our absolute best to keep prices low for this program in hopes that it is an affordable option for many families. The cost of our program is set as such to ensure we can sustainably cover the rent and preservation of our beautiful bushland, our (very important) insurance for your families and our business, the resources, and our fantastic staff.
We have set this price as a ‘friends & family’ price for our wonderfully supportive Wild Wattle community (you!) as a huge thank you for making our program possible.
