The Mountain
Our programs are held on a wildly beautiful 8-acre property on Mount Gibraltar in the Southern Highlands. Nestled between Bowral and Mittagong, and exactly as nature intended it to be.
Down a long gravel driveway and tucked into the bush, our patch is safe, secluded, and the kind of place that feels instantly familiar, like somewhere from a childhood you remember fondly, or always wished you'd had.
Across a grassy lawn and along a winding trail sits our ever-evolving gathering space, nestled amongst the old-growth gums. This is where many of our programs are based, where we come together, and where most days are spent. From here, adventures unfold in every direction.
What's on the Property
Our mountain has everything a wild child could dream of:
The Mud Pit — our beloved (not so dry) dam and the source of many very happy, very tired children
Forest Obstacle Course — climbing, balancing, and scrambling through the bush
Fire Pits — for gathering, roasting marshmallows, warming up, and a little bush magic
Large Grassy Lawn — perfect for running through the sprinkler, playing ‘What’s the time Mr.Wolf’, and everything in between
Bush Walking Trails — winding paths through the property perfect for little explorers and big adventurers alike
Toilets & Sinks — clean, on-site facilities and covered shelter for all weather
Wildlife — kookaburras, kangaroos, wombats, native birds, and all the creatures that call Mt Gibraltar home
